One of the most popular new baby animals is definitely Bakso, the critically endangered Sumatran tiger cub, born to mother Sohni last fall. Sohni is a second-time mom and has been hanging out with her baby Bakso over on Maharajah Jungle Trek to the delight of guests!

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, a new critically endangered baby addax was born last month! Mom Juniper welcomed her calf Ginny and continues to nurture her backstage before they join the rest of the herd.

Mom Violet also welcomed her calf Henry, who can be seen along the Uzima Savanna with members of the addax family. These births are super important since the species is critically endangered.
