Josh D’Amaro Previews Disney’s New Abu Dhabi Park — “The Possibilities Are Endless”
Just minutes before he took the stage to present Disney’s latest earnings report to investors, Bob Iger dropped a bombshell.

“This is a thrilling moment for our company as we announce plans to build an exciting Disney theme park resort in Abu Dhabi, whose culture is rich with an appreciation of the arts and creativity,” Iger said.
What We Know About the Park
While details on the new park are scarce, we know Miral will own and operate it, while Disney will lend their cache of intellectual properties and the expertise of Walt Disney Imagineering. Disney also promises that guests will experience the immersive environments, world-class attractions, fine dining, and shopping they have come to expect.

“Disneyland Abu Dhabi will be authentically Disney and distinctly Emirati – an oasis of extraordinary Disney entertainment at this crossroads of the world that will bring to life our timeless characters and stories in many new ways and will become a source of joy and inspiration for the people of this vast region to enjoy for generations to come.”
Josh D’Amaro Teases Endless Possibilities and More Information to Come

In the video, D’Amaro emphasized that the new Abu Dhabi park will be located on the waterfront and that Walt Disney Imagineering is already working on ideas for the Disney destination.
“I’ll tell you what, I am going to have a lot more to share with you soon,” D’Amaro concluded.
