Disney Parks and Experiences Drive Growth in Latest Earnings Report

Earlier today, The Walt Disney Company shared that once again, the company demonstrated the strength of its experiences division, reporting significant growth in its latest quarterly earnings.
This division saw revenue rise 6% to $8.89 billion for the winter quarter.
Domestic Parks
Disney’s domestic theme parks were a major driver of this success, with revenue climbing 9% to $6.5 billion.

Operating profit for the domestic parks rose 13% year-over-year to $1.82 billion.
The company also highlighted growth across key areas, including increases in park attendance, hotel bookings, and how much guests spent on merchandise and food.
While international parks’ revenue dropped 5% to $1.44 billion, the overall experiences business continued to show steady performance.
Cruise Ships and Consumer Products

Disney credits part of its revenue increase to its cruise line, particularly after the launch of the new Disney Treasure ship.
In addition to its cruise line, they also credit the increase in part due to its wide range of consumer products.
Outlook for 2025

Looking ahead, Disney reaffirmed that the experiences division is on track to increase operating profit by as much as 8% for the year — this doubles last year’s growth of 4%.
As Disney continues expanding its offerings and innovations within its parks, resorts, and cruises, fans and investors have much to look forward to in 2025.
