This Sunday, American Idol is bringing music to the Happiest Place on Earth! Even better? The competition heats up with celebrity Guest Mentor Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Broadway legend Lin-Manuel Miranda is stepping in as a guest mentor for American Idol’s fan-fave Disney Night celebration.
American Idol fans can tune in for the two-episode event airing Sunday, May 11, and Monday, May 12, from 8:00–10:01 p.m. EDT on ABC.
The Sunday episode celebrates Mother’s Day, with the Top 7 contestants heading to Disneyland to sing Disney classics as America votes and narrows down the competitin to the Top 5.

On Monday, the excitement continues with a “heroes and villains” theme. The Top 5 perform twice at Disneyland, which features live voting to decide the final three heading to the show’s finale.
Tune in for a great night of music…and some intense competition.
Lin-Manuel Miranda
Lin-Manuel Miranda is a talented Broadway icon, best known for In the Heights, Hamilton, and his work on Disney’s Moana, Encanto, and Vivo.
