Water Returns to Stormalong Bay Pool at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts!
There’s always some kind of construction happening at Disney World! Refurbishments happen regularly on rides, restaurants, pathways, and more.
Right now, a long refurbishment is happening at the pool over at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. And, we’ve seen some exciting progress — let’s take a look!
Stormalong Bay Updates
The Stormalong Bay pool at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts has been partially filled with water!
We saw that half of the pool, the side closest to the Yacht Club, is the one filled with water.
The other half is still under construction and empty.
Here’s another look.
There is a lot of exterior facade work happening here!
Many of the windows and exits are blocked along the perimeter of the pool.
The walkway to the Beach Club is also under construction.
You can see sandbags across the way…
…and the large patio area near the Beach Club back entrance is covered. It appears they’re painting over here.
It looked like they were doing some painting at Yacht Club, too!

Inside of the Yacht Club, there’s also being work done on the second story of the lobby.
