A New ‘Designing Disney’ Series Has Debuted on the Disneyland App
In just eleven days, the 70th Disneyland festivities will kick off at The Happiest Place on Earth, marking the beginning of one of the biggest celebrations in Disney history.
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that Disneyland Resort has a ton of new experiences planned for fans who visit during the 70th Celebration. These include the debut of the Tapestry of Happiness Projection Show, World of Color Happiness!, and the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade.

In addition to these new entertainment offerings, Disneyland Resort will debut new additions to “it’s a small world,” the debut of a new Walt Disney audio-animatronic show, and new additions to Toy Story Midway Mania!
A Chance to Reflect on Disneyland History
While there is obviously plenty to look forward to, the Disneyland 70 celebration should also be a moment to reflect on the resort’s history and celebrate the men and women who made Walt’s dream a reality.

To that end, Disney will show The Last Verse in the Main Street Theater, and new exhibits curated by the Disney Archives are coming to the Main Street Opera House!

‘Designing Disney Parks’
Earlier today, Disney introduced a new series of videos on the Disneyland app.

Titled Designing Disney Parks, the short-form videos highlight the creation of The Happiest Place on Earth.
The first two episodes are titled “Building a Dream” and “Following Walt’s Footsteps.”
