Naturally, we feel inclined to review as many as humanly possible in each of our visits–how else would you know what’s worth trying and what’s not? (It’s a selfless endeavor, we swear.) And all of our park-hopping has worked up quite the sweet tooth, so let’s grab one of the resort’s new treats!
Match Float – Disneyland Park
We’re heading over to The Tropical Hideaway to satisfy our sweet tooth!

Disneyland Park Tropical Hideaway
The location just debuted its new Matcha Float, which is DOLE Whip Strawberry and Mango swirl, topped with white chocolate drizzle and toasted coconut. We grabbed it for $9.29.

We know the DOLE whip strawberry and mango soft serve pretty well, so their sweet flavors weren’t new for our tastebuds.

However, we were a little surprised–and disappointed–by how the fruity flavors overpowered the float’s matcha. We’re not sure if the float needed more matcha, or less strawberry and mango soft serve, but the proportions were certainly off.

Overall, it’s still a nice, refreshing treat to grab during a long day in the parks. Best case scenario, they fix the proportions, and the matcha comes through with a stronger flavor. Worst case scenario, you get DOLE strawberry and mango soft serve–a treat we already love–and beautiful views of the Jungle Cruise boats passing by! (We could think of worse ways to spend our day.)
