PHOTOS: Walls Are Down at “it’s a small world” in Disneyland!
One of Disneyland’s classic attractions has been missing in action for quite some time.

Disneyland Park
Guests who have visited Disneyland Park recently likely noticed the walls that went up around “it’s a small world.” But, just in time for the kick-off of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, the attraction is gearing up to reopen to guests!

While the attraction isn’t open quite yet, guests can walk over here to catch a glimpse of the iconic exterior.

A sign in front of the attraction states that the “musical voyages” will continue this spring. Currently, the attraction is still set to open on May 9th! (It was originally expected to reopen on April 25th, but was pushed back to May 9th.)

“it’s a small world” – Final Verse Update
That’s not the only update hitting “it’s a small world” in the coming months! In honor of the Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary, the attraction will reveal another update on Disneyland’s actual birthday, July 17th.

In honor of the anniversary, the attraction’s song, written by the Sherman brothers, will be updated to include Richard Sherman’s final verse. (This final verse also happened to be his final Disney contribution.) Here’s the new verse being added to the song:
Mother earth unites us in heart and mind
And the love we give makes us humankind
Through our vast wondrous land
When we stand hand in hand
It’s a small world after all.
