PHOTOS: Check Out the NEW Update to DCA’s Carthay Circle Restaurant!

So much is changing around the Disneyland Resort!

Just today alone, we’ve spotted new merchandise, the removal of walls, new closures, 70th anniversary preparations, food scrap cans, and more! And, somehow, that’s still not everything–let’s check out the new updates to a popular restaurant in Disney California Adventure (DCA)!

Guests walking through DCA recently were met with not-so-magical scrims and walls at Carthay Circle Restaurant. We’re not joking–these scrims are unsightly, to say the very least.

Carthay Circle is one of the most iconic landmarks in the park, so it’s certainly not ideal when it’s covered in scrims.

But today, we noticed that the scrims are gone! Yay!

What were the walls hiding? Well–previously, the Carthay Circle Lounge outdoor area was blocked off from foot traffic in Hollywood Land by large planters. Now, a small iron fence provides a barrier for the outdoor lounge.

The fence covers the length of the patio. We like this new addition!

Those aren’t the only walls that went down. The walls at “it’s a small world” were removed as well, preparing for the attraction’s reopening on May 9th.
