The Man Behind the Magic: Introducing Disneyland Cast Member Chuck Garcia-Howell
Disneyland Resort is known as The Happiest Place on Earth, and for good reason. It is there that magic becomes reality, dreams come true, and guests make memories that will last a lifetime.
While Disneyland is world-renowned for its amazing attractions, immersive environments, and world-class cuisine, anyone who has ever visited the resort knows that the Cast Members make it magical.

With that in mind, I want to introduce you to Chuck Garcia-Howell, an area manager of Outdoor Vending Food and Beverage at Disneyland Resort.
Chuck’s Story
Chuck began his Disneyland career more than twenty years ago as a Cast Member at the Jumpin Jellyfish. From there, he went on to be a manager at the Matterhorn and a manager of guided tours at Disneyland guest relations.
As someone who has been making magic for decades, Chuck was honored with the Walt Disney Legacy Award, the highest honor that can be given to a Disney Parks Cast Member!

Chuck choked up when he reflected on his honor and the blue name tag that came with it.

“The Walt Disney Legacy Award is such a great opportunity to recognize Cast Members who really do believe in the dream that Walt Disney set out for us,” he said.
“It’s something special, and it reminds me every day that I’m lucky to be here. I’m lucky to work in a place as magical as Disneyland Park.”
