Surf’s Up! A New Stitch-Themed Photo Op Has Arrived at Disney Springs
With Easter in the rearview mirror, temperatures across the country warming up, and May just around the corner, Walt Disney World is starting to look ahead to summer.
Over the last several weeks, we have brought you numerous updates on Disney World’s summer plans, including special savings, the return of V.I.PASSHOLDER Days, and the news that both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon will be open simultaneously this year.

Now, however, I want to turn your attention to Disney Springs, where some more summer fun has arrived.
A Beach-Theme Photo Op?!
When we visited Disney’s PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs this morning, we were thrilled to see that a new summer photo opportunity had arrived!
The new backdrop allows guests to take photos on a sandy, Disney-themed beach!
As you can see, the star of this new backdrop is the Cinderella Castle sand castle!
However, there are also a ton of other fun items. These include the Mickey’s Surf Co. boards, a retro “Wave Patrol” poster, and plenty of Stitch items.
Here is another look at the lifeguard chair and some of the props.
