One of Disney California Adventure’s Walkways Will Close Until Next Summer!
Disney California Adventure (DCA) is about to experience a major facelift! (No, we’re not talking about the incoming 70th Anniversary Celebration offerings–which we are really excited about.)
We’re referring to the exciting projects on the horizon—specifically, the new Coco ride, Avatar land, and Avengers Campus expansion. Progress is moving forward on one of those projects, leaving a popular walkway closed for a year–let’s talk about it.
DCA Walkway Closed
Over on X, Scott Gustin shared that the walkway between Avengers Campus and Cars Land will close on Tuesday, April 29th. The walkway will remain closed until next summer.
NEW: The walkway between Avengers Campus and Cars Land at DCA will be closed beginning Tuesday, April 29. The walkway will close to allow crews to build a new restroom facility and work on the Avengers Campus expansion. (If you’re unfamiliar with this walkway, it’s by Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters.)

While Cars Land’s path into Avengers Campus is closed, you can enter the heroic area using the main entrance, near Carthay Circle…

…or the entrance from Hollywood Land, near Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!

To enter Cars Land while the walkway from Avengers Campus is closed, you can use the main entrance across from the Mendocino Terrace area…

…or the two walkways from San Fransokyo, by Radiator Spring Racers and Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop.
