Tiana Takes Flight: Alaska Airlines Debuts First Disney Princess-Themed Plane
Get ready for a new adventure! Alaska Airlines is bringing a royal touch to the skies with the debut of the “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer.”
This is the first aircraft in its fleet to feature a Disney Princess, and it is perfect for Disney fans.
Inspired by the iconic Disney princess and the attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, this new themed plane celebrates Princess Tiana’s story in a whole new way.
A New Look
How great is this new look? The aircraft features stunning artwork of Tiana smiling, surrounded by fun characters and images from the attraction and the movie.
“Alaska Airlines” and “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” appear in bold letters on the side of the plane. And look towards the front! The plane encourages everyone to “follow us to Disneyland!”

The First Aircraft
“Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer” is the first Alaska Airlines aircraft to feature a Disney Princess. It will have its inaugural flight today from Portland, Ore., to Orange County, California, where passengers can visit The Happiest Place on Earth.
The Boeing 737-800 took artists more than 2,000 hours to paint and has a new design that highlights Louis the Alligator, fireflies flowing from the plane’s nose to tail, and Mama Odie and Prince Naveen pictured on the winglets.
