Soarin’ Is Closing For a Brief Refurbishment at Disney California Adventure
With the 2025 Food & Wine Festival now over at Disney California Adventure, Soarin’ Around the World will be closing for a brief refurbishment next week.
For those who don’t know, during the spring festival, Soarin’ Over California returned to Disney California Adventure for a limited time. With the festival now at an end, Soarin’ Around the World has returned.

Soarin’ Over California
Unfortunately, for guests visiting The Happiest Place on Earth next week, Soarin’ is once again closing for a brief refurbishment.
California’s Soarin’ Will Not Get the Updated Eiffel Tower Scene
While the official Disneyland website does not mention the upcoming closure, reporter Scott Gustin says that the refurbishment will take place from April 28 through May 1, with the attraction opening on May 2.

Interestingly, during the closure, Disneyland Resort’s Soarin’ Around the World will not receive the updated Eiffel Tower scene that we recently saw debut at EPCOT.
The Update Is Coming
The good news for Disneyland fans is that the California version of the update will eventually get the updated scene.
According to Gustin, another refurbishment will take place in a few weeks. At that time, the updated Eiffel Tower scene will be added.
Soarin’ Around the World at DCA will close for a short refurb next week (April 28-May 1). When it reopens on May 2, it won’t feature the updated Eiffel Tower scene recently added to EPCOT’s version. However, Disneyland WILL be updating that scene in the coming weeks. pic.twitter.com/Yt5EnLilmF
