Walt Disney World Wait Times for Easter Week 2025
In case you weren’t paying attention, Easter Sunday just happened.
Typically, the Easter holiday week lures countless tourists to Central Florida.

Was 2025 any different? Here are Walt Disney World’s wait times for Easter Week 2025.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
I’ve noticed some recent online discussions regarding whether guests should even visit Animal Kingdom in 2025.
I’ll state right now that I am telling friends that they should, but I’ll likely detail the matter in a future article.
For now, what I’ll say is that wait times haven’t increased much even as some Animal Kingdom experiences have closed.
Generally, that’s a sign of smaller crowds, although this debate comes with some nuance.

There’s some debate about how popular the recently closed experiences were.
So, if few tourists were doing them anyway, their closures wouldn’t have sizable ripple effects.

That’s a grim view of a classic but now extinct attraction like It’s Tough to Be a Bug!, though.
Anyway, here are the park’s average wait times for Easter Week:
- Avatar Flight of Passage – 90 minutes, up 11
- Na’vi River Journey – 69 minutes, up 9
- Kali River Rapids – 62 minutes, up 23
- Kilimanjaro Safaris – 59 minutes, up 13
- Expedition Everest – 49 minutes, up 10
- DINOSAUR – 43 minutes, up 12
- Adventurers Outpost – 39 minutes, up 6

Na’vi River Journey
While these wait times may seem high, I’ll counter that during Easter Week 2024, Avatar and Na’vi River Journey alone had a combined wait of 207 minutes.
So, we are trending downward a bit, although the context here is that Easter occurred in late March last year.

Na’vi River Journey extended stand-by queue
Overall, Animal Kingdom attractions averaged a wait of 59 minutes, which is 13 minutes more than last time.
That’s two minutes more than the park averaged during Easter Week 2024, but there were also two more attractions then.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios
We’re officially within the two-month window on the closure of Muppet*Vision 3D.
Recently, I’ve tried to see whether tourists have shown any last-minute interest in the attraction.

Disney
To my frustration, there hasn’t been, and that trend continued this week.
Once again, Muppet*Vision 3D averaged a wait of ten minutes, which means shows still aren’t showing out.
Folks, you’re going to miss this one when it’s gone. So, you should be flocking to Muppets Courtyard right now.
Here are the other average wait times at Hollywood Studios last week:
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 92 minutes, up 20
- Slinky Dog Dash – 91 minutes, up 15
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith – 70 minutes, up 13
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 65 minutes, up 13

During Easter Week in 2024, that total was 59 minutes.

Final Thoughts
Overall, guests at Magic Kingdom waited for an average of 34 minutes per attraction, which is four minutes more than last time.
So, Easter Week crowds were higher than we’ve witnessed in April thus far.
However, I wouldn’t describe them as significant for a holiday week based on the data I’m tracking.
If you visited Walt Disney World this week, let us know what you thought of the crowds.
