Entertainment Showtimes Revealed for Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration!
We’re only one month away from the kick-off of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration!

On May 16th, the resort will celebrate 70 years of magic-making, with tons of event-inspired offerings–including huge entertainment debuts and returns. And Disney just revealed the showtimes for the event’s entertainment offerings–let’s check them out!

Disneyland Park
Paint the Night
Paint the Night parade is making its long-awaited return on May 16th! When it returns, it will run twice each night, at 8:45PM and 10:45PM.

The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade
The new cavalcade will debut on May 16th, running twice each day at 1:30PM and 2:45PM.

Wondrous Journeys
The nighttime spectacular, Wondrous Journeys, will return on May 16th in honor of the event. The fireworks show will run each night at 9:30PM.

Disney California Adventure
World of Color Happiness!
The new World of Color Happiness! will debut on May 16th and run twice most nights, at 9:00PM and 10:15PM.

There are some differences in showtimes already–there are a handful of dates in May where the show will only run once. On May 18th, for example, the show will only run at 8:45PM.

(This is a good time to remind you to check the showtimes for the specific days you’re visiting, as they can vary!)
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!
Noticeably missing from the showtime reveals is the returning parade, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! The parade’s webpage still does not show any times…

…and reservations are not open for its accompanying dessert party, which still confirms the parade will return on May 16th. According to the Disney Eats Instagram page, reservations were supposed to open on April 10th. We’ll keep an eye on this to see if its return will be delayed.

For reference, the dessert party for World of Color Happiness!–which was announced with the dessert party for the Better Together parade–opened reservations as scheduled.
