Disney+ To Debut Galaxy’s Edge and Rise of the Resistance Walkthroughs Next Month
As tends to be the case, May is shaping up to be a massive month for Star Wars on Disney+.
The festivities will kick off on May 4, when Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld arrives.
The six-episode anthology series will continue the Star Wars animated canon by telling the stories of bounty hunters Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane.

Two days later, the long-awaited Andor Season 2 will debut on Disney+, concluding Cassian Andor’s origin story.
While fans already had every reason to be excited, today, Disney gave them even more reason to look ahead to May.
‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge | Disneyland Resort’
In addition to Tales of the Underworld, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge | Disneyland Resort will also debut May 4 on Disney+.
According to Disney, the program will celebrate 70 years of imagination and unforgettable storytelling at Disneyland Park by journeying through Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
“This immersive P.O.V. experience invites you to explore Batuu after hours, where droids work diligently, heroes emerge, and the First Order looms around almost every corner,” the program’s synopsis reads.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance | Disneyland Resort
Two days later, on May 6, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance | Disneyland Resort will debut on Disney+.
This time around, guests will have a P.O.V. look at Disneyland’s flagship Star Wars attraction.
“This P.O.V. journey shows how seven decades of innovation can bring science fiction to life! Your mission begins on Batuu and quickly escalates into a daring escape from the clutches of the First Order. Do you have what it takes to rise with the Resistance?” the program’s synopsis reads.
I, for one, can’t wait to take a detailed tour of both Galaxy’s Edge and Rise of the Resistance.
