Walt Disney World Wait Times for Second Week of April 2025
When we last discussed Walt Disney World crowds, attendance had apparently slipped a bit at the parks.
That wasn’t unexpected, as the Spring Break crowds had come and gone.
Of course, Disney crowd levels can change in the blink of an eye. And that’s the case this week.
If you haven’t glanced at a calendar, Easter Sunday falls on April 20th.
Generally, this holiday causes crowds to surge at Walt Disney World, and it sometimes even happens a few days early.
Did that happen this past week? Let’s find out. Here are the Walt Disney World wait times for the second week of April 2025.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

It’s Tough to be a Bug! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
With It’s Tough to Be a Bug! closed for a month now – sadness, I know – not much is happening at the park.
I mean, yes, construction is happening constantly behind the scenes, but that doesn’t impact the crowds any.
Currently, Animal Kingdom features a small group of E-ticket attractions and several high-quality shows.
We know that more is coming in a couple of years, but this is what we’ll have until DinoLand USA officially closes for good.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney
At Hollywood Studios, fans have almost exactly two more months to enjoy Muppet*Vision 3D.
To date, we haven’t really witnessed a rush to watch the show for the last time.
As proof, the attraction once again averaged a ten-minute wait this past week, the same as last time.
Thus far, we’ve only tracked one brief bump the week after the announcement of its closure.
So, I hate to say it, but I understand where Disney’s coming from on this decision. Tourists are no longer in love with the show.

Final Thoughts

Photo: Disney
Overall, Magic Kingdom attractions required an average wait of 30 minutes, which is two minutes more than last time.
So, three of the four parks experienced increases in their average wait times last week.
I’d argue that the difference wasn’t dramatic, though.
The attraction wait times across Walt Disney World went up by about two minutes each.
That means the parks were a bit more crowded, but we didn’t get an early Easter rush yet. Will that happen next week? Probably.
