First Look at the Treats Coming to Edna Á La Mode Sweets on the Disney Destiny!
Today is a very special day because we’re getting a first look at Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Destiny! The ship sets sail in November of this year, but Disney set up a preview aboard the Disney Wish today for us to check out.
We’ve seen a look at the staterooms, a preview of one of the shows, and some of the merchandise. And now, we’re taking a look at one of the food options aboard the ship!
Edna Á La Mode Sweets
Say hello to Edna Á La Mode Sweets! This is a sweets shop modeled after Edna Mode’s lab, where the fashion designer whips up outfits for the supers in The Incredibles.

It’s inspired by the Auntie Edna short film and features modern sewing equipment that’s been repurposed as sweet-making mechanisms to entertain Jack-Jack!
The futuristic design blends techy features with sweet surprises for super fans. There is a collection of Edna’s sketches and high-fashion artwork that will decorate the walls, and the front window will showcase costume models of the latest suits for Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl.
There will also be a sculpture of Jack-Jack and Edna working on her cookie recipe. You might even spot Rocky the raccoon popping out of a garbage can nearby trying to steal some cookies!
The menu will include items like handmade gelato, ice cream, candies, and specialty treats including cupcakes inspired by the heroes of the Parr family, decadent gourmet popsicles, homemade chocolate bark, and an endless supply of fan-favorite Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums.
Let’s break down the menu some more!
You can get Violet’s Cupcake, which is purple velvet sponge cake with white chocolate mousse, purple mirror glaze, sprinkles, and chocolate décor.
There’s also Mr. Incredible’s Cupcake, which is a double chocolate fudge cake with chocolate truffle mousse, dark chocolate velvet finish, gold confetti, and chocolate décor.

Edna has a cupcake, too! The Edna À La Mode Cupcake is vanilla marble sponge cake with white chocolate mousse, red mirror glaze, sprinkles, and chocolate décor.
Finally, check out Elastigirl’s Cupcake, which is an orange-almond cake with raspberry mousse, orange chocolate velvet finish, sprinkles, and chocolate décor.
Other sweet treats include the Edna À La Mode Shortbread Cookie – a shortbread cookie with vanilla frosting, dulce de leche filling, and chocolate décor…
…the Edna À La Mode Chocolate Bark Postcard, which is white chocolate, dark chocolate, and chopped cookies ‘n cream cookies, and the Jack-Jack Chocolate Bark Postcard, which is dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and mini chocolate chip cookies.

Finally, grab the Edna À La Mode Cookies & Cream Cookie, a three-layer cookies ‘n cream cookie with dulce de leche.
