BEST Magic Kingdom Day for Aspiring Disney Princesses
Magic While the Magic Kingdom is fun for the whole family, princess lovers will be in their glory. With several castles and princess-centered attractions, royalty is celebrated here.
As a princess lover, I’m always swept away by the fairytale atmosphere. So whether you loved them as a child or are parenting a future princess, you should check out these Magic Kingdom “princess-approved” activities.
Different attractions, restaurants, and areas of the park will tickle your royal fancy.
Let’s slip on our glass slippers and explore a regal itinerary.
Mix and Mingle with Princesses
Every princess should waltz to Princess Fairytale Hall in Fantasyland. Originally the Snow White’s Scary Adventures attraction, this building now houses royal meet and greets.
On average, four princesses greet guests. Check the sign outside to see which royal friends are holding court.

This opulent space features portraits of various princesses, Cinderella’s glass slipper on display, and (best of all) air-conditioning.
I head here after rope drop. The humidity hasn’t destroyed my hair/outfit, and I feel ready for photos with royalty. (Morning photos are also ideal for mini-princesses!)
Don your best dress and get princess selfies for Instagram.
Read a Story with Belle
Enchanted Tales with Belle is part meet and greet, part attraction. Tucked inside New Fantasyland, guests can visit Maurice and Belle’s cottage for a magical storytime.
Filled with Beauty and the Beast (1991) magic and Easter eggs, guests are eventually transported to the castle via a magic mirror. There, you’ll be greeted by Lumiere, the Wardrobe, and Belle herself!
Next, Belle tells a story and graciously invites guests of all ages to participate. (I can’t think of any other opportunities I’d have to put on a mini-play with Belle!)
With a beautiful setting, state-of-the-art animatronics, and a charismatic princess host, Enchanted Tales with Belle is a must-do experience.

Race Through a Diamond Mine
Don’t forget, princesses can have adventures, too! Check out the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for a family-friendly coaster unlike any other.
Based on the first princess movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (1937), guests can ride on a real mine train.
This magical train will take passengers through whimsical hillsides and inside the glittering diamond mines. Don’t forget to check out the cave walls for magical character appearances!
The journey ends at the dwarves’ cottage, where Snow White and her friends are dancing to “The Silly Song”. Beware, though, the Evil Queen may be lurking nearby.

Whether you want to relive a classic or introduce your little one to Snow White, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is worth booking a Lightning Lane for.
Journey Under the Sea
Last but not least, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid is a must-ride for mermaids.
This gorgeous dark ride, found inside Prince Eric’s seaside castle, takes guests through the story of The Little Mermaid (1989). Hop inside a clamshell and prepare for enchantment.

Classic animatronics and screens bring you to Ariel’s grotto, Ursula’s lair, and the lagoon where Eric almost kisses the girl. The wedding finale will make you teary every time.
Surprisingly, this warm-hearted ride usually has a short wait. Its high capacity keeps people constantly flowing through Ariel’s story.

Best of all, her meet and greet is next door to the ride’s exit! What could be more perfect?
Get Dressed by a Fairy Godmother
No princess-centered trip is complete without a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Your little one can get a royal makeover from a real Fairy Godmother in training.
This special salon is for guests between the ages of 3 and 12. It specializes in princess fashion/makeup/hair, but there are packages for young princes or knights.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has several packages to choose from. Some include simple hair styling and makeup, while others include luxury ballgowns and crystal tiaras to take home.
As a proud aunt, I can see that my nieces’ Magic Kingdom visit was extra magical with a princess makeover. I just wish they had an option for older princesses!

Be a Guest at the Beast’s Castle
Following a royal glow-up, your princess should dine somewhere special. Luckily, the Magic Kingdom has not one but two castles to dine in.
Starting with the newest venue, Be Our Guest is extremely popular. Situated in the Beast’s castle, young princesses follow in Belle’s footsteps.
Across the drawbridge, past the gargoyles, and through the castle doors, an enchanting restaurant awaits. Currently serving lunch and dinner, your princess can dine in three dining rooms inspired by the movie.
Personally, I recommend eating in the Grand Ballroom. What could be more fitting for a princess than marble pillars, crystal chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling windows?
For dinner, the menu is French and American-inspired. And yes, the “Grey Stuff” is included.
While Be Our Guest isn’t an official character meal, the Beast does make appearances to greet the diners. It’s an excellent royal meal and an even better choice for little and grown-up fans of Belle.
Eat in THE Castle
Another wonderful option (serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner) is Cinderella’s Royal Table. Thanks to the generosity of Cinderella, guests can dine inside the iconic castle.
Cinderella greets guests beforehand for special photos and autographs. Then, they ascend to the dining hall for a magical meal.
Decked out in stained glass windows, carved stone archways, and fluttering tapestries, your princess will feel like the guest of honor.
The elevated menu includes entrees like steak while also including kid-friendly dishes like mac and cheese. As you dine, different visiting princesses will stop by your table.
(This is a great opportunity to meet several characters with no lines!)
As a Disney Adult, my first meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table holds a special place in my heart. I’m sure your princess will feel the same.
