3 New Otters Make Their Debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Recently in Disney World, we’ve seen the debut of Bakso, a baby Sumatran tiger, as well as Tucker, a baby Masai giraffe. And now…there are baby OTTERS!

Butternut, Biscuit, & Potato

Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President of Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment, revealed that three young otters have made their debut in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Butternut, Biscuit, and Potato were born in December, and now you can see them frolicking around at Otter Grotto!

Dr. Penning shared that these Asian small-clawed otters are born with their eyes closed, completely dependent on their parents, Kevin and Mae, who have been working hard at teaching them everything there is to know about being an otter.
