NEWS: Bourbon Steak to Replace Shula’s Steak House at Disney World’s Dolphin Hotel
The dining at Disney World is one of the best parts of visiting the resort, in my opinion! There are so many amazing restaurants to choose from, whether you’re in the parks or at the hotels.

Somewhere that many may not think to dine during their trip is over at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels. There are excellent restaurants at these spots, which are located on Disney World property right next to the EPCOT resorts.

And, we just found out about a NEW restaurant coming to one of these hotels!
New Steakhouse Coming to the Dolphin Hotel
A new steakhouse is replacing Shula’s Steak House at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel! The new spot will be Bourbon Steak from Chef Michael Mina.

Bourbon Steak is an ode to the traditional steakhouse that features perfect sears and tableside old fashioneds! You can expect a fresh perspective on the familiar steakhouse.

The spot will only be open for dinner and reservations are recommended. It’s a signature dining experience, so guests are expected to dress accordingly in attire that is appropriate for the restaurant. That means clothing that’s neat and in good condition, free from offensive language and/or graphics, and no swimwear.

Let’s learn a little bit about Chef Michael Mina. He is an award-winning chef and the founder and executive chairman of MINA Group, which is a collection of over 30 chef-driven concepts such as PABU, Sorelle, MINA’s Fish House, the Bungalow Kitchen by Michael Mina, and Bourbon Steak, which can be found in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York, Hawaii, and more.

Chef Mina has earned multiple James Beard Awards over the years and even has a Michelin star at his restaurant MICHAEL MINA. Other accolades include the James Beard Foundation’s “Who’s Who of Food & Beverage” inductee, Bon Appetit’s Chef of the Year, and he was recently named one of the “50 Most Powerful People in American Fine Dining” by Robb Report.

It looks like reservations are being taken at Shula’s Steak House through June 14th, 2025 right now, so expect the restaurant to operate until at least that date. Then, Bourbon Steak should open sometime in the mid-summer.
