ESPN Leads the Way With 63 Sports Emmy Nominations
The 46th Annual Sports Emmy Awards nominees were announced yesterday, and once again, ESPN led the pack.
For the 12th straight year, the Worldwide Leader in Sports lapped its competition and led the way with 63 nominations.

These nods included work presented on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN+, ABC, ESPN Deportes, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, SEC Network, the ESPN App, ESPN.com, and Disney+.
ESPN’s Studio Programming Dominated the Field
The big winner for ESPN yesterday was E60, which picked up four Sports Emmy nominations.

Other programs to receive multiple nods included SC Featured, College GameDay, ESPN Deportes, and Rythem Masters: A Mickey Hard Experience. ESPN’s flagship studio programs, Pardon the Interruption and NFL Live, also received nominations.
On-Air Talent Shine
Over the past couple of years, ESPN has made a determined effort to continue to add to its roster of on-air talent.

This strategy paid off yesterday when thirteen on-air personalities received Emmy nominations. These included:
- Host: Scott Van Pelt
- Play-by-Play: Mike Breen
- Analyst: Troy Aikman (Event), Ryan Clark (Studio), Kirk Herbstreit (Studio), Peyton Manning (Event), and Dan Orlovsky (Studio)
- Reporters: Holly Rowe, Lisa Salters
- Emerging On-Air Talent: Jason Kelce, Nick Saban
- On-Air Personality in Spanish: Mauricio Pedroza, Pilar Pérez
