Disney, American Airlines, and Make-A-Wish Make Dreams Come True For Arizona Families
In celebration of Wish Month, Disney, American Airlines, and Make-A-Wish teamed up this morning to whisk 23 Arizona families away on a magical trip to Walt Disney World.
This morning, the Wish families arrived at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, where they were greeted by a celebration that included a red carpet, decorations, and treats. Even the flight attendants got into the fun, wearing Mickey and Minnie ears to celebrate.

“This is a one-of-a-kind wish experience,” Matthew Wall, Director of Project Wishes, Make-A-Wish Foundation, explained to AZ Family. “No matter what they’ve experienced in their life, they’re here for Make-A-Wish and for Disney and for American Airlines to bring them hope, strength and joy when they need it most.”
Fun in the Sky
This morning’s flight, chartered by American Airlines, included unique in-flight experiences. Among the amenities offered to the Wish families were an ice cream sundae bar and numerous activities.
“I’m glad to have the experience in general. It’s not something we can do on our own,” one parent explained.
