Come With Us to the 2025 Disneyland After Dark: ‘Star Wars’ Nite Event!

The Disneyland Resort has moved onto its next series of Disneyland After Dark events!

We’ve experienced this year’s Sweethearts’ Nite and 90’s Nite events, but now it’s time for us to feel the force with the next series. So, without further delay, let’s attend Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite!

Event Check-In

Guests already inside Disneyland were able to check in as early as 4PM by Frontierland’s entrance into Galaxy’s Edge.

Here, ticketed guests could receive their wristbands, lanyard credentials, and guide maps. 

There was also a sign notifying guests that event merchandise would be available near Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, but we also spotted more at the Starcade in Tomorrowland.

Event Merchandise

The Starcade opened at 6PM for guests to grab some event apparel…

…and souvenirs.

Let’s check out the merch! The new Light Up Star Wars Nite Ears are rechargeable and come with a removable bow. 

One side has the franchise’s logo…

…while the other has the event’s logo. You can grab a pair for $34.99.

The event’s Star Wars Nite Hoodie is $74.99 and has the Star Wars logo on the front and a colorful Darth Vader design on the back. 

The event’s Star Wars Nite Light Side Shirt is $34.99 and has the party logo on the chest and a colorful “May the Force Be With You” logo on the waist.

 The back has fun designs of C-3PO and R2-D2.

The Star Wars Nite Dark Side Shirt is also $34.99 and has the same front as the light side shirt…

…but has the colorful Darth Vader design on the back. 

The Star Wars Nite Pullover has the same design as the shirts, but features Yoda on the bottom! You can purchase one for $54.99.

There are some exclusive event souvenirs too, like the Star Wars Nite Magnet for $14.99…

…the Star Wars Nite Ornament for $22.99…

…and the Star Wars Nite Light Up Cup for $22.99.

There’s also a Star Wars Nite Pin for $22.99 that flips to show the Galactic Empire logo on one side…

…and the Rebel Alliance logo on the other. 

The May the 4th Be With You Pin shows Darth Vader and Luke fighting. You can grab one for $19.99.

CRISLU had a Jewelry Trunk Show at the Emporium!

They had necklaces…

…rings…

…and earrings with Star Wars designs.

Photo Opportunities and Meet-and-Greets

Town Square had some photo-ops, including a Lightsaber Wall (featuring lightsabers from Acolyte)…

…a Jedi Order Wall…

…and a Galactic Empire Wall. 

The Royal Theatre, tucked directly next to Sleeping Beauty Castle, housed a meet-and-greet with Queen Amidala…

…with Master Anakin Skywalker nearby. 

The Fantasyland Theatre was set up for lightsaber training!

There was also a photo-op with Jabba the Hut and Salacious B. Crumb!

A Sabine Wren and Chopper meet-and-greet was stationed near the queue for Star Tours. 

We always love seeing Chopper!

And, speaking of droids, the Tomorrowland Terrace had R5-D4…

…R2-D2…

…and BB-8 take center stage. 

Up above, at the Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace, Darth Maul was looming. 

Star Wars Launch Bay housed a meet-and-greet with Boba Fett from his Empire Strikes Back era.

Food

We grabbed the Nevarro Lava Canyon Bread With Coleslaw, which comes with BBQ smoked burnt ends-stuffed cheesy pretzel bread and a side of creamy slaw. You can grab it from Maurice’s Treats or Edelweiss Snacks for $13.99.

The garlic cheese paired beautifully with the BBQ smoked burnt ends, and the sauce wasn’t too heavy or too sweet. 

We satisfied our sweet tooth with the Dagobah-Bite Beignets from the Mint Julep Bar! For $7.89, we got Yoda-Shaped Beignets dusted with matcha powdered sugar, served with a side of matcha dipping sauce. The matcha sugar wasn’t overpowering and mixed well with the semi-sweet dipping sauce. 

Entertainment and Décor

Projections decorated various landmarks in and around Main Street, U.S.A., including Sleeping Beauty Castle…

…the Main Street buildings…

…and the Matterhorn.

The party was going strong over at the hub as well, where a live DJ played music for guests to dance to. 

End of Event

We ended the night with a farewell from Mickey and Minnie dressed as their favorite droids–R2-D2 and BB-8, respectively. They were standing at the Main Street Train Station, waving to guests as they left for the night!
