Disney World Extends Park Hours Ahead of Easter 2025
With temperatures across the country warming up, schools out for spring break, and the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival still underway, it is a great time of year to visit Walt Disney World.
As guests continue to descend on The Most Magical Place on Earth for some fun in the sun this spring, Disney is preparing for the larger crowds by extending their theme park hours.
Here is the latest.
Updated Magic Kingdom Hours
Looking at the upcoming calendar, the operating hours for numerous Walt Disney World parks have been extended through the end of April. As expected, the biggest changes have come to Magic Kingdom.
Cinderella Castle
Here is a look at the updated hours:
- April 20 & 21: The park will close at 10:00 p.m. (was previously 9 p.m.)
- April 22: Early Entry will begin at 7:30 a.m. (was previously 8:30 p.m.), park opening at 8:00 a.m. (was previously 9 a.m.), park closing at 11:00 p.m. (was previously 9:00 p.m.)
- April 23: Closing at 10:00 p.m. (was previously 9:00 p.m.), Extended Evening Hours will take place from 10:00 p.m. to 12 a.m. (was previously 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- April 24: Closing at 10:00 p.m. (was previously 9:00 p.m.)
- April 25: Closing at 11:00 p.m. (was previously 9:00 p.m.)
- April 26: Early Entry begins at 7:30 a.m. (it was previously 8:30 a.m.), the park opens at 8:00 a.m. (it was previously 9:00 a.m.), and the park closes at 11 p.m. (it was previously 9 p.m.).
What About Disney World’s Other Parks?
While most of the extended hours will occur at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s other parks have also adjusted their operations.
Perhaps most notably, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will remain open until 7:00 p.m. from April 20 through April 26. Previously, the park was scheduled to close at 5:00 p.m.
Additionally, on April 26, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will stay open until 7:00 p.m. (it was previously scheduled to close at 6:00), and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will close at 10:00 p.m. instead of 9:00 p.m.
