runDisney Reveals 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend Themes
From January 29 through February 1, 2026, runners from across the country will descend on The Happiest Place on Earth for the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend.
Taking place during the Disneyland 70th Celebration, next year’s half marathon will “Celebrate Happy” and allow guests to enjoy some miles and smiles with some of their favorite characters.

Here is what Disneyland has in store for fans!
Morning Yoga With Miss Piggy
The 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend will kick off on January 29 with a morning yoga session in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. In addition to the magical setting, Miss Piggy will join the guests!

The session costs $140.
Disneyland 5K
The Disneyland 5K will be the first race of the 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, taking place on January 30.

Hosted by Joy from Inside Out, this race will take guests through a 3.1-mile course!
Disneyland 10K
On Saturday, January 31, runners can join Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey for the Disneyland 10K.

As they “Celebrate Imagination,” runners will race their way through 6.2 magical miles!
runDisney Kids Races
Also taking place on January 31, 2026, will be the runDisney Kids Races.
Children under the age of 9 can “Celebrate Laughter” with the always adorable Stitch!

Every participant in the runDisney Kids Races will go home a winner!
Disneyland Half Marathon
On February 1, runDisney participants will “Celebrate Togetherness” for the 13.1-mile Disneyland Half Marathon.

This year’s course will be inspired by the adorable children of “it’s a small world.”
Dumbo Double Dare
Finally, runners can earn an extra medal when they complete the Dumbo Double Dare.

After running both the 10K and the half marathon, runners will receive a special reward that “Celebrates Achievement.”
Registration Opens Later This Month
Registration for the 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend will open on April 22, 2025, for runDisney Gold and Platinum members.
