Animal Kingdom Cast Members Visit Tucker
As it turns out, we weren’t the only ones who recently got an opportunity to meet Tucker. In a new video on LinkedIn, Disney executive Jason Recher shared a video of Animal Kingdom Cast Members seeing Tucker on the Kilimanjaro Safaris for the first time.

Disney’s Commitment to Conservation
In addition to being adorable, Tucker is also an essential part of Disney’s conservation efforts. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), there are only about 30,000 Masai giraffes in the wild, making them an endangered species.
“Tucker’s birth is really important for us. It’s a testament to Disney’s leadership in animal care and conservation and our incredible partnership with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and the Species Survival Plan. This plan focuses on maintaining genetic diversity of the giraffe population and helping to prevent giraffes from becoming extinct,” said Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President of Disney’s Animals, Science, and Environment.
