PHOTOS: The Iconic Diggs County Billboard Has Been Demolished in DinoLand
On January 12, 2025, the countdown to extinction for Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama struck zero, and the mini-land officially closed to facilitate the construction of the new Tropical Americas land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Since then, we have watched as the demolition of Dino-Rama has slowly but surely progressed.
Over the past two months, we have seen construction walls erected, TriceraTop Spin dismantled, and longtime DinoLand landmarks such as the Dino-Rama entrance sign and the Cementosaurus reduced to rubble.

However, the last time we checked in, a few of the Diggs County billboards were still visible above the Dino-Rama construction walls.
The Latest From Disney’s Animal Kingdom
When visiting Animal Kingdom today, we noticed that the Diggs County Dino Institute billboard that has looked down upon DinoLand for decades has been demolished.
As you can see, the iconic billboard lies in a heap on the ground.
For those who don’t remember, this is what the billboard formerly looked like.

With the demolition of the Diggs County Dino Institute billboard, all of the large Dino-Rama signs have officially been demolished.
