PHOTOS: Exciting Updates on Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney District

Downtown Disney District has been undergoing a major transformation this past year with exciting updates and new offerings to its many shops, boutiques, and restaurants.

One of our favorite locations, Earl of Sandwich, has been relocated and is undergoing construction.

Updates 

Earl of Sandwich has had several locations since the original was torn down in 2022, most recently in the former La Brea Bakery building and a pop-up near the Star Wars Trading Post.

Today, we stopped by the new location and checked in on the progress. The eatery is getting closer to opening and is almost ready for a more permanent presence.

Construction equipment, tarps, and colorful construction walls are still at the location, but we noticed new beams since our last visit.

We can’t wait until the new restaurant opens! In the meantime, guests can visit the pop locations for their favorite menu items.

Progress is looking good, and plans are underway for the new two-story establishment, which will offer both the classic quick-service experience and an enhanced dining option.

The ground floor will continue to serve the signature hot sandwiches and salads that fans have come to love, while the upper level will introduce a table-service gastropub, providing a fresh twist on the traditional Earl of Sandwich offerings.
