Preparations Continue at ‘The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure’ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
It’s been a while since we’ve been able to sing along with Ariel at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

In case you missed it, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, which ran from 1992 to 2020, closed its doors during the COVID-19 pandemic after a staggering 28-year run.

Naturally, the classic show will be missed by many.
But after The Little Mermaid‘s 5-year absence from Animation Courtyard, we’re BEYOND excited for the arrival of the upcoming The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure!

The new, updated show will feature our favorite characters, songs, and scenes from the 1989 animated film — along with state-of-the-art puppets, special effects, and more.

After a bit of a delay, the show will OFFICIALLY open on May 27th, 2025!
With just a few weeks to go until the big day, construction crews are busy making the final adjustments and changes to the building and the surrounding area.

When The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure opens on May 27th, the crowds are SURE to show up in full force. With that in mind, you’d think that a queue would be pretty important!

Still, our team noticed that queue elements have been recently removed, leaving the area (temporarily) bare.

Currently, a row of planters is blocking off the area for guests.
