Disney World’s New Apple Cider Doughnuts Are Delicious…But Confusing
Disney World releases new food items all the time! Recently, we’ve tried a new Lunch Box Tart in Hollywood Studios, a new rice bowl at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and a new Joffrey’s cold brew at EPCOT.
And today, there’s a new sweet treat available in Magic Kingdom. Let’s go try it out!
New Apple Cider Doughnuts
These are the new Apple Cider Doughnuts from The Friar’s Nook! They come with a caramel sauce for $6.49.
The doughnuts are served warm, and the caramel sauce is drizzled on top, so they can be a little messy! They’re also very green, as you can see.
We thought these were absolutely delicious and would be perfect in the fall, but we’re a little confused to see them on the menu in April. What’s going on, Disney?
We’re not complaining because they are very good, they’re just a bit heavy to eat when it’s hot outside, as it is right now in Disney World.
But, if you want to get them anyway, you won’t be disappointed! They are fried nicely with a crisp exterior.
The caramel sauce adds another level of sweetness and is a great addition because the doughnuts themselves aren’t that sweet.
The inside is light and doughy with a hint of spice and some chunks of apple!
We also think this is a great snack to split with others.
