A Sparkling ‘Disney Starlight’ Photo-Op Debuts at runDisney Expo
In just a few months, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will officially debut at Magic Kingdom, marking the park’s first nightly parade since 2016.
Originally announced at last year’s D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, the new Disney World procession will build on the legacy of the Main Street Electrical Parade while also using the latest technology to retell classic Disney stories.
“Disney Starlight is a constellation of Disney dreams brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy,” show director Tara Anderson explained last year.
“We’re taking this idea of a magical constellation of wishes and dreams and weaving it throughout the parade. Uniting our stories with a touch of hope and wonder.”
Disney Has Slowly Unveiled the Parade’s Floats
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away was announced, we have continued to learn more and more about the parade. Over the last several weeks, Disney has released previews of the procession, including a look at the Peter Pan, Moana, Cinderella, and Frozen floats.
Of the unveiled floats, however, my favorite may be the glimmering Coco float.

A Disney Starlight Photo Op Has Arrived
Ahead of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away’s debut, Disney has unveiled a new photo op at this weekend’s runDisney Expo!
As you can see, the backdrop faithfully recreates the Coco float that will debut with the procession.
The bottom of the backdrop notes that the parade is coming to Magic Kingdom this summer!
