Where Should You Eat at Magic Kingdom?
When you visit Walt Disney World, you’ll spend most of your time at Magic Kingdom.
I know this because I’ve tracked theme park attendance for many years now, and it’s just math.

Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom has been the most popular theme park in the world for more than a decade.
So, you’re going there, and you’ll have a lovely time. But here’s the big question. What’s for dinner?

Where should you eat at Magic Kingdom? Today, I’ll rank the various Quick Service options.
Best Quick Bites

Mobile Order
Disney wants you to grab-and-go a lot at this park, knowing that you’ll have so much to do.
That’s why many tourists use Mobile Ordering while standing in line at attractions.

Several Magic Kingdom attractions are basically permanent kiosks where you can grab a quick bite.
They don’t quite count for our rankings, but you should still be aware of the best ones.

Aloha Isle is where you’ll discover Dole Whips, the most iconic of all Disney desserts.
Golden Oak Outpost recently started selling Tiana’s Famous Beignets, which makes this place a must during your visit.

Finally, Sleepy Hollow near the Mad Tea Party is legendary for its Mickey Waffles and Funnel Cakes.
When you’re looking to eat well but save money, it’s probably the best option at Magic Kingdom.
6. Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café

Now, let’s discuss the Quick Service options at the park. We’ll save Table Service meals for a different article.
And we’re beginning with Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, which is technically food.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place in that I hate myself for loving to eat here.
As a pure tourist at heart, I love ridiculousness like Sonny Eclipse, the out-of-this-world Audio-Animatronic singer at Cosmic Ray’s.

When you want dinner and a show, let Sonny Eclipse entertain you.
As for the food, well, it’s the ultimate “chicken strips and burgers” eatery, but the food is, let’s just say, inconsistent.

World of Walt
Generally speaking, you’re eating here for the Disney entertainment more than the food.
5. Tortuga Tavern

This seasonal restaurant isn’t operational as I type this, but it may be by the time you read my rankings.
The Adventureland staple appears festive and appropriately pirate-y from the outside.

Inside, you’ll find an ambitious menu relative to the other dining options at Magic Kingdom.
For example, where else could you try an Peanut Butter, Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, and Banana Sandwich?

I think that’s what killed Elvis. And the place serves Orange Chicken Strips as well, which doesn’t strike me as the right color.
More importantly, you’ll find the infamous Barbecued Slaw Dog here, which may provide justification enough to visit.

Personally, when I’m in the mood for hot dogs, I’ll choose somewhere else at Magic Kingdom.
I should warn you, though. Tortuga Tavern somehow has a lower score on TripAdvisor than Cosmic Ray’s, which is…concerning.
4. Pinocchio Village Haus

Pinocchio Village Haus
Here’s another place more popular for the scenery than the food.
At Pinocchio Village Haus, a few lucky tables face the entrance at It’s a Small World.

So, when you’re lucky, you can watch the boats sail into the sunset, which is fun.
Given the sheer number of tables here, it’s a low-percentage play, though.

Still, you’ll appreciate the ample seating in the heart of Fantasyland, as it’ll provide you a respite during your park visit.
As for the food, you’re here for the flatbreads, although the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich is pretty good, too.
The menu here is pretty deep by Quick Service standards, which makes it an excellent compromise dining option for groups.
3. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café

Here’s where I confess that Magic Kingdom dining has tiers. Thus far, we’ve discussed the lower-tier options.
Now, we’ve entered the upper echelon, the three really good restaurants at Magic Kingdom.

There’s still a divide here, though. The next two restaurants are preferable to this one, but it’s still quite good.
At Pecos Bill, the flavors transport you south of the border while offering you plenty of choices.

You get to pick your protein with your rice bowl, and one of your ingredients is called – I kid you not — Cherry BBQ Cola Pork.
A quick glance at TripAdvisor will reinforce the quality of a meal here. It’s in the upper echelon of Quick Bites in Orlando.

So, when you’re in the mood for Mexican, this is the place to go at Magic Kingdom.
2. Casey’s Corner

Still, we can do better, especially when we’re craving hot dogs.
Casey’s Corner is a Magic Kingdom classic due to its primary protein and its location.

You’ll find the charming restaurant on the corner of Main Street, U.S.A., where it overlooks Cinderella Castle.
You may walk into this place accidentally, as it connects to Emporium Shop, the go-to merch store on Main Street.

Vegan Chicago Dog – Casey’s Corner
Once you walk inside, Disney takes you out to the ballgame, throwing America’s pastime in your face.
This is a place for lovers of baseball and hot dogs, as the menu consists of nothing but hot dog variants.

You’ll find basic hot dogs, plant-based hot dogs, and sometimes even the hot dog of the month when Disney’s feeling frisky.
Casey’s Corner serves comfort food with a side of smiles. I love this place.
1. Columbia Harbour House

Casey’s Corner isn’t the best Quick Service option at Magic Kingdom, though.
No, that honor belongs to Columbia Harbour House, the place that will make you feel like you just crossed the Delaware.

Columbia Harbour House
The setting here is classic New England at a time when it truly was new, the late 18th century.
You can’t help but notice the theming, which is that of an inn by the sea. You’re dining at a safe harbor for hungry sailors.

Photo: Disney
As such, the menu is decidedly heavy on seafood, including the iconic Lobster Roll, one of the most popular dishes at Disney World.
For many years now, Columbia Harbour House has held a claim as providing the best value at Disney World.

Interior of Columbia Harbour House
While I’d argue that Woody’s Lunch Box has recently surpassed it, Columbia Harbour House serves the best food at Magic Kingdom.
Currently, TripAdvisor ranks this restaurant as #31 among 487 Quick Bites options in Orlando. It’s that good.

THIS is the place you should pick when you’re hungry at Magic Kingdom. But you’ll find me at Casey’s Corner. Go Braves!
