Disney Shares First Look at ‘Zootopia 2’
At last year’s D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, Disney announced that audiences would soon be able to return to Zootopia for another adventure with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.
10 years after the original Zootopia was released, Zootopia 2 will hit theaters this November. In the film, Nick and Judy will “find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down.”
“To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before,” the synopsis continues.

Since the initial Zootopia 2 announcement, more details about the film have begun to trickle out. In addition to a series of returning faces, the film will introduce Gary the Snake (Key Huy Quan) to audiences and reptiles to Zootopia.
Fans Get a First Look at ‘Zootopia 2’
During their presentation at CinemaCon today, Disney finally shared a first look at Zootopia 2.
In the new image, Judy, Nick, and Gary happily pose together.

Guests in attendance also got a preview of a new scene where Judy and Nick go to a partner’s therapy session, which is overseen by Dr. Fuzzbee (Quinta Brunson). In the clip, we see other mismatched police partners, such as an elephant who is scared of his mouse partner or a deer who keeps fighting with a skunk.

In a second scene, Judy and Nick go on holiday to a marsh resort, which is filled with hippos and a sea lion (not a seal!)
When Will the Film Hit Theaters
Fans who did not attend CinemaCon will have to wait a little longer to get their first look at Zootopia 2.

With the film set to hit theaters on November 26, 2025, we should not have to wait too long for a trailer to arrive.
