After the success of last year’s Descendants: The Rise of Red, it came as no surprise that Disney Branded Television was planning a fifth installment.
But questions swirled around what the plot could entail and which characters would return in the next film, which is expected to debut next summer.

This week, Disney Branded Television gave fans a glimpse of what we can expect when the fifth Descendants movie drops next year.

A Glimpse into Disney’s Fifth ‘Descendants’ Movie
Picking up after the events of Descendants: The Rise of Red, the next film will see the return of Kylie Cantrall as Red and Malia Baker as Chloe.

Leonardo Nam will also return as Maddox Hatter, but fans should prepare to meet a WHOLE bunch of new faces!

Liamani Segura will join the cast as Pink, sister of Red, while Brendon Tremblay will star as Max Hatter, son of Maddox. Alexandro Byrd will play Luis Madrigal, son of Luisa Madrigal, and Kiara Romero will play Hazel Hook, daughter of Captain Hook. Finally, Joel Oulette joins the cast as Robbie, son of Robin Hood; Zavien Garrett as Felix, son of Dr. Facilier; and Ryan McEwen and Dayton Paradis, the twin sons of Mr. Smee.

The plot will reportedly explore the answer to the previous film’s final warning: “There are consequences when you alter the fabric of time.”
