PHOTOS: The Construction of Test Track 3.0 Hits a Major Milestone
While 2025 will largely be a year of transition for Walt Disney World, with significant projects either underway or set to kick off at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there are still plenty of new offerings to look forward to.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Zootopia: Better Zoogether! will premiere later this year. Hollywood Studios will also debut both Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure. Then, of course, there is Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away at Magic Kingdom.
Finally, we have EPCOT.

After years of massive changes, Disney World’s second park will remain largely static in 2025. However, we are eagerly waiting for the opening of Test Track 3.0.
Test Track 3.0 Is Coming
Originally announced at 2023’s Destination D23, the new version of Test Track will draw inspiration from the former World of Motion pavilion and celebrate humanity’s “enduring drive” towards a better tomorrow.

“New show scenes will be added showcasing technological advances and how our lifestyles and relationships to mobility connect everyone. Enjoy a joy ride through scenes focusing on onboard technology, customization, and personalization,” Disney explained at last year’s D23: The Ultimate Fan Event.
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we have been closely following the development of Test Track 3.0.

The last time we checked in, ride testing had begun, and we could hear the ride vehicles zipping by. Now, we are back with another update.
The Scaffolding Has Come Down
When we visited EPCOT today, we were thrilled to see that the scaffolding around Test Track’s entrance had come down.

As you can see, the pavilion has largely been restored to its 1982 glory!
Inside the pavilion, the Chevrolet sign can still be spotted.

Here is another angle.

Finally, here is a look at the other side of the pavilion.

As you can see, there is still plenty of construction walls in place.

Still, significant progress has been made!
There have even been new light fixtures installed.

Testing Has Resumed
While standing outside the Test Track pavilion today, we were able to confirm that daytime testing has resumed.
The cars were zooming by at various intervals.
