Earth Month 2025: Conservation Efforts at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Take Center Stage
Earlier today, Disney announced that it was teaming up with National Geographic to relaunch its ourHOME campaign in celebration of Earth Month.
Led by National Geographic, OurHOME will inspire audiences to appreciate the world around them through the power of storytelling. Throughout April, Disney will release new content and digital and experiential activations to showcase global efforts to protect, restore, and celebrate the natural world.

As part of Disney’s Earth Month announcement earlier today, the company promised that Disney Experiences’ conservation efforts would also come to light.
Conservation Efforts at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point
True to their word, the Disney Parks Blog has shared an inside look at Disney’s commitment to conservation at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!
When the new Disney Crusie Line destination welcomed its first guests last year, we reported on the sustainable design of the port’s open-trestle pier. Specifically created to minimize impacts on coral reefs, the dock is just one example of Disney’s commitment to conservation in the Bahamas.

“At the core of Disney Lookout Cay is the idea that nature and storytelling go together to create an incredible experience for guests,” Disney explained.
Disney’s Continued Commitment to The Bahamas
Over the last thirty years, the Disney Conservation Fund has provided more than 80 grants to nonprofit organizations in The Bahamas.

That commitment has continued with the opening of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
