BREAKING: Both Typhoon Lagoon AND Blizzard Beach Will Be Open This Summer
For the first time in six years, both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open concurrently this summer!
If you have visited Walt Disney World since 2019, you have likely noticed that only one of Disney’s water parks has been open at any given time. Over the last several years, Disney World has staggered its Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon refurbishments, closing each park for six months.

Summer 2025 at Walt Disney World
The news that both Walt Disney World water parks will be open concurrently could not come at a better time. Not only is summer just around the corner, but Disney is also giving resort guests free water park admission on their arrival day throughout 2025.
That means, beginning May 21, guests will be able to enjoy Disney’s water parks for free and choose which park to visit!
