Walt Disney World Wait Times For Late March 2025
Everything old is new again at Walt Disney World.
Several attractions have either recently received dramatic updates or will soon.

Country Bear Musical Jamboree
This list includes shows based on The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Zootopia, and Country Bear Jamboree.
Meanwhile, Test Track and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are currently undergoing revision, while another will soon.

Country Bear Musical Jamboree
How are all the changes impacting the parks? We’ll figure it out while discussing Walt Disney World’s wait times for late March.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Magic Kingdom
The big news this week involved Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.
I’m mentioning it here because it ties into something happening at Magic Kingdom as well.
Later this year, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will temporarily close for refurbishment.
These changes aren’t modest, though. Disney will modernize the attraction by dramatically overhauling it.

Tropical Americas signage
If this tactic sounds familiar, it should. Park officials are currently doing the same thing in multiple parts of Animal Kingdom.
First, the park closed three experiences at DinoLand U.S.A. in anticipation of shuttering the entire themed land.

Imagineers are already working on its replacement, the Tropical Americas, which will celebrate Encanto and Indiana Jones.
More recently, It’s Tough to Be a Bug! closed permanently, with a Zootopia show coming later this year.

It’s Tough to Be a Bug
We’re in the middle of a transitional period at Disney, and it’s causing guests to alter long established traffic patterns.
How are these campus-wise changes impacting the crowds? Let’s check the average wait times at Animal Kingdom last week:
- Avatar Flight of Passage – 79 minutes, down 15
- Na’vi River Journey – 62 minutes, down 2
- Expedition Everest – 52 minutes, up 3
- Kilimanjaro Safaris – 51 minutes, down 4
- Kali River Rapids – 35 minutes, up 16
- Adventurers Outpost – 33 minutes, up 2
- DINOSAUR – 31 minutes, down 6

Overall, guests stood in line for an average of 49 minutes per attraction, which is one minute less than last time.
As an FYI, this park will have inflated wait times throughout 2025 due to the closing of It’s Tough to Be a Bug! and TriceraTop Spin.

Those attractions always had lower average wait times, which brought down the overall average. We don’t have that now.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
I haven’t even discussed the other major factor unfolding right now.
Many school systems either just completed Spring Break or will celebrate it this week.

So, attendance is a bit mercurial, which is typical at this time of year.
The lack of a consensus Spring Break week across North America makes the entire process a bit of guesswork.

At Hollywood Studios, here are the average wait times during the most recent batch of Spring Break crowds:
- Slinky Dog Dash – 85 minutes, down 9

Overall, Hollywood Studios guests waited for an average of 45 minutes per attraction last week, which is two minutes less than last time.
EPCOT
In terms of daily changes, EPCOT remains the park whose behavior has switched the most recently.
The introduction of a standby queue at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has transformed guest traffic patterns.

Disney
Now, most guests target Cosmic Rewind early in the day when the crowds should ostensibly be the smallest.
Since such a large swath of people are doing it, the tactic is backfiring as often as not, which makes it fascinating to watch.

Cosmic Rewind
So, how were EPCOT’s average wait times last week? Let’s check:
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – 98 minutes, up 3

Overall, EPCOT attractions averaged a wait of 38 minutes, just the same as the previous week.
Magic Kingdom
As for the Buzz Lightyear update, it won’t occur until August.
Thus, Magic Kingdom should have steady traffic patterns for the next four months.

Final Thoughts
Overall, Spring Break crowds led to an average wait of 32 minutes per attraction at Magic Kingdom.
That’s one minute less than last time and speaks to steady traffic throughout Walt Disney World last week.

Spring Break Crowds
Technically, attractions across the four theme parks fell an average of one minute from the prior week.
So, traffic declined slightly, but it’s still obvious that Disney was getting some theme park crowds.
