BEST Walt Disney World Spots for Springtime Brunch
Spring’s in the air! For some, this means wearing sandals and flowy dresses. For everyone, this means it’s time to get reacquainted with brunch.
Gloomier winter weather brings out the hermit in us. (It does for me.)
But once spring sunshine and better temperatures hit, I’m suddenly motivated to get up on the weekend. Honestly, brunch is my favorite reason to roll out of bed.
The only other thing that turns me into a morning person is a flight to Orlando. So, let’s double the fun and talk about the best places for a Disney brunch!
My favorite brunch recommendations excel in food, service, and the sunshine vibe expected at brunch. Let’s dig in.
Grand Floridian Cafe – The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
No place on property inspires me quite as much as The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Its underrated restaurant, the Grand Floridian Cafe, makes me want to wear my Sunday best and snag a reservation.
Decked out in ivory elegance, the Grand Floridian Cafe has a dedicated brunch menu that’s attracted diners for years. With a variety of light and hearty options, anyone can leave satisfied.
The menu is vast, but standouts are the Siracha honey-drizzled chicken and waffles, the signature Angus burger, and variations of Eggs Benedict. To make a fancy brunch even fancier, order a top-shelf mimosa to accompany your meal.
What’s more luxurious than a meal like this on vacation? Don’t miss out on this chance to treat yourself.
Steakhouse 71 – The Contemporary Resort
Another excellent brunch option is a short monorail ride away. Nestled inside the lobby of the Contemporary Resort, is the divine Steakhouse 71 restaurant.
Inspired by the year the resort opened, the theme is retro and sleek. Decked out in vintage artwork and photos of Walt Disney himself, this restaurant reminds of a golden era.
The lunch/dinner menu is based on Walt’s favorites and brunch is no exception. (Consider booking the specialty Mother’s Day Brunch.)
Specialty menu items include Walt’s Prime Rib Hash, loaded omelets, and bacon and cheese grits.
Steakhouse 71 also has a full bar, but I recommend their signature Bloody Mary or the Curious Cold Brew cocktail.

You might be stuffed, but if you’re heading to a park, the Magic Kingdom is only a short walk away! The yummy indulgence is still worth it.
Ale & Compass Restaurant – Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
Ale & Compass has an underground following – and for good reason! This New England-inspired eatery has an incredible brunch.
Themed to the interior of a lighthouse, Ale & Compass features soft lightning, porthole windows, and paintings of the sea. The atmosphere manages to be both regal and nautical.
Naturally, this vibe extends to the menu. Many popular dishes contain seafood including the Crab Cake Benedict and the Smoked Salmon Flatbread. (Dessert lovers should order the Dark Chocolate Waffle though.)
For your beverage, I suggest ordering the coffee press pot for two. The proceeds support sustainable coffee practices and the coffee is delicious. Win-win!
Honestly, it’s a mystery that Ale & Compass is an easy reservation to book. Don’t let it sail on by.
Summer House on the Lake – Disney Springs
Summer House on the Lake made its Disney debut in 2023 and became an overnight hit. This California-inspired restaurant brings outside vibes inside with greenery and natural lightning.
And its brunch menu and cookie bar give everyone else a run for their money. (Literally!)
Make a Sunday reservation and ask for a seat by the windows. Sip their signature Rose as you scour the menu.
I usually don’t order appetizers, but here, I can’t resist the potato salad deviled eggs or the cheesy dream puffs. For entrees, you can choose from burritos, pancakes, pancake tacos, salads, or sandwiches.
My favorite choice is the shaved Brussel sprout salad with salmon. (It’s perfect after hearty appetizers!)
Also, can I lavish praise on the cookie bar? Summer Hour on the Lake has a diverse cookie bar where you can buy treats to take home.
Unlike Gideon’s cookies (and don’t get me wrong, I love them), these are easier to finish. Equally delicious, moist, and well-portioned – Summer House on the Lake cookies deserve love. And so does this venue.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ – Disney Springs
Nothing says Southern hospitality like brunch. James Beard Foundation winner, Chef Art, created a restaurant that reflects the best of southern cuisine.
This hip, Disney Springs locale will entice you with a decadent menu. Wear stretchy pants because choices include homemade biscuits, glazed doughnuts, fried chicken, and pecan-infused bacon.
I recommend the fried chicken and doughnut entree. The best of both worlds!
Chef Art also understood the concept of a boozy brunch. Homecomin’ has the largest cocktail menu (out of my recommendations) and includes mimosas, spiked teas, moonshine, and much more.
This isn’t for light eaters, but it is for foodies. I do recommend taking a nap afterward.
If you ever doubted that WDW was a trendy spot for brunch, think again. Grab your Advance Dining reservations now and happy brunching!
