WATCH: Disney Shares First-Look at ‘Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After’ Stage
Yesterday, Walt Disney World announced that Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will officially debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 27.
The new show was initially announced last September as a replacement for the Lightning McQueen Racing Academy.
Located in Sunset Showcase, the interactive attraction will transport guests to the mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror. Here, they will come face to face with the likes of Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent.

With just two months to go until Unfairly Ever After, Disney is hard at work getting Sunset Showcase ready for the new attraction. Earlier this morning, we brought you the news that the Lightning McQueen Racing Academy sign had been removed from the building’s exterior.
Now, I want to take you inside Sunset Showcase, where work is underway on the new show’s stage!
The Magic Mirror Is in Place
In a new video posted on Instagram, Disney Live Entertainment shared a sneak peek at the construction of the Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After stage.

In the time-lapse video, a team of Imagineers works together to hoist the Magic Mirror into place high above the stage.
The clip also gives us our first look at the stage itself, which features numerous large screens overhead. These will be the portals through which the villains enter the magic realm.
