Magic Kingdom Facts
- Cinderella Castle is 189 feet tall, and it does have a Cinderella Suite inside.
- The Walt Disney World Railroad has four steam-powered trains that were originally built between 1916 and 1928–meaning some of them are more than 100 years old!
- Liberty Square’s Liberty Tree has 13 lanterns, with each lantern representing one of America’s 13 colonies.
- 10 different shops in eight cities across two countries created the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade costumes.
- Joseph Trapanese, who collaborated with Daft Punk on the soundtracks for Tron: Legacy and Shanghai’s TRON attraction, created Magic Kingdom’s soundtrack for TRON Lightcycle / Run.

EPCOT Facts
- EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Walt Disney created this name in 1966.
- Spaceship Earth is 180 feet tall (slightly shorter than Cinderella Castle), has two spherical structures, and holds a ride track. The exterior has 11,324 aluminum triangle tiles, which create the iconic pattern we all know and love.
- The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is actually one of the longest festivals of its kind in this country. The festival’s gardens are more than a mile and a half long and have 70 topiaries.
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has Disney’s first-ever reverse launch, and it’s their first omnicoaster (which means the vehicles can rotate 360 degrees).
- 11 country pavilions make up World Showcase, and World Showcase Lagoon is the largest body of water in any Disney Park.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Facts
- Starting in 2017, the resort has debuted a new attraction every year, along with 3 themed lands. Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the biggest of them all, as well as the biggest themed expansion in any Disney Park ever.
- Black Spire’s Millennium Falcon is more than 100 feet long.
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is 199 feet tall. If it were measured in Nestlé Mickey’s Premium Bars, it would take about 770 stacked ice cream bars to reach the top.
- Speaking of Nestlé Mickey’s Premium Bars, 3.7 million are served annually at Disney World. That amount would reach the top of the Tower of Terror 4,892 times. (That’s a lot of drops.)
- Every clock in Tower of Terror is stopped at 8:05, which is the time on Halloween night 1939, when lightning struck the hotel.
- Toy Story Mania! is the first attraction that was designed and built at Disney World and Disneyland Resort simultaneously.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Facts
- Animal Kingdom opened on Earth Day, April 22nd, 1998. It was the fourth theme park to open at the resort.
- The Tree of Life is 145 feet tall and has 337 sculpted animals decorating its trunk.
- The Expedition Everest mountain is the tallest “mountain” in Florida, coming in at almost 200 feet tall.
- Kiliminjaro Safaris is 110 acres, which is long enough to house 83 football fields. Imagineers mixed concrete, stones, dirt, and twigs to provide the bumpy road.
- The resort serves so much popcorn that it would weigh the same as 1,557 African Elephants in the park.

- It would take you decades (and a whole lot of money) to stay in every room at every Disney Resort. There are nearly 29,000 resort rooms at Disney World–staying in one room per night would take you 79 years.
- Disney World has one of the largest laundry facilities in North America, which cleans everything from bed sheets to towels. The facilities wash, dry, and sort more than 100 million pounds of linen. They also clean laundry for Give Kids The World Village.
- The tennis racquet at Disney’s All-Star Sports is 51 feet tall, which would be large enough to cover an actual tennis court. The resort’s tennis can sculpture could also hold 9.5 million tennis balls.
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort hands out more than 1,300 leis every single day.
- Disney’s Art of Animation’s Big Blue Pool holds 310,000 gallons of water, making it the largest pool at Disney World.

- There are four modes of free transportation at the resort, including the bus fleet with more than 400 Disney buses. 65 million guests use these buses annually, with more than 10,000 trips being made every day. That totals to 24 million miles driven each year!
- 300 guests can fit in a Monorail train.
- There are 95 polka dots on the Minnie Vans.
- The parking trams are 171 feet long. They come in eight different colors across the parks.
- More than 1 million miles have been traveled by the Disney Skyliner since it opened in 2019.

Disney Cast Member Facts
- Disney World is the largest single-site employer in this country, with 80,000 Cast Members.
- 200,000 Disney VoluntEARS hours were contributed in 2024.
- Disney PhotoPass photographers snap more than 350,000 smiles every day in the parks and resorts.
- Cast Members feed an estimated 10,000 pounds of food to over 5,000 animals across Disney World.
- Disney World’s Horticulture Cast Members tend to over 3,500 plant species, which includes plants from every continent except Antarctica.
