Walt Disney World Wait Times For Third Week of March 2025
Last week, I foolishly believed a movie corporation about when North Americans take Spring Break.
I won’t be making that mistake again, as Walt Disney World’s crowds dropped a bit for the week.
We both know that wouldn’t happen if it were actually Spring Break at Disney.
The problem with Spring Break discussions is that there isn’t One True Vacation Week for all. It varies by region.

Crowds in Magic Kingdom
Still, I have it on good authority that Disney parks experienced much larger crowds this past week.
So, I think we’ve reached the meaty part of Spring Break tourism. Am I right?

Spring Break crowds
Let’s find out by looking at Walt Disney World’s wait times for the third week of March 2025.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

It’s Tough to be a Bug! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Last week, I mentioned that It’s Tough to Be a Bug! was closing on the final day of our data.
Sadly, that means the show will never be a part of our wait times articles again.

One day soon, Disney will replace it with Zootopia: Better Zoogether – are we still workshopping that name? – but not yet.
So, Animal Kingdom hosts two fewer attractions now than it did at the start of 2025…and we’re still in March!

Did the closure impact the wait times at other Animal Kingdom attractions? It’s hard to say, but we’ll take a look.
Here are the park’s average wait times last week:
- Avatar Flight of Passage – 94 minutes, up 14
- Na’vi River Journey – 64 minutes, up 6
- Kilimanjaro Safaris – 55 minutes, up 9
- Expedition Everest – 49 minutes, up 8
- DINOSAUR – 37 minutes, up 2
- Adventurers Outpost – 31 minutes, down 2
- Kali River Rapids – 19 minutes, down 11

Photo: Disney
Overall, guests waited for an average of 50 minutes per attraction, which is seven minutes more than last time.
Something you should know is that Florida suffered another cold spell last week.

Kali River Rapids
That’s why Kali River Rapids dropped substantially. If not for that, the average wait would have been much higher.
So, yes, we’re seeing early signs of Spring Break crowds. And, no, I don’t think It’s Tough to Be a Bug! had much to do with it.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Woody’s Lunch Box
The big news at Hollywood Studios right now – other than the construction – is that the new roof is nearly ready.
Everyone knows that Woody’s Lunch Box needs more shading and seating, and Disney is finally obliging.

Disney
Otherwise, we’re waiting for the disruption caused by the impending closures like Muppet*Vision 3D.
Until then, it’s business than usual…other than the Spring Break effect.

Disney
So, how were those crowds? Here are the park’s average wait times last week:
- Slinky Dog Dash – 94 minutes, up 14
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith – 82 minutes, up 5
- Star Wars – Rise of the Resistance – 82 minutes, down 3
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – 63 minutes, up 12
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 61 minutes, up 6
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway – 60 minutes, up 5
- Toy Story Mania! – 57 minutes, up 5
- Alien Swirling Saucers – 43 minutes, up 5
- Red Carpet Dreams – 38 minutes, no change
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue! – 21 minutes, up 4
- Celebrity Spotlight – 18 minutes, up 1
- Muppet*Vision 3D – 10 minutes, no change

Overall, Hollywood Studios guests spent an average of 47 minutes in line per attraction, which is four minutes more than last time.
I’ll point out that we almost had seven attractions that required a wait of 60+ minutes again.
Six rides did, while Toy Story Mania! was close enough at 57 minutes.
That’s the scenario I always used to describe the busiest park days from 2019-2023.

We haven’t had much of that for a while other than major holidays. So, it’s noteworthy that this just happened.
EPCOT

EPCOT
This park had a bit of excitement last Saturday evening. A walk-in cooler caught fire backstage, which is just a wild turn of events.
Coolers are supposed to be cold, not aflame, right? Anyway, the impact of this fire was negligible.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure’s Single Rider Line
Thankfully, nobody suffered an injury. The fire broke out near the France pavilion, but Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure wasn’t down long.
The ride reopened within two hours of the incident, which speaks to the fact that it wasn’t serious/could have been worse.

Cosmic Rewind
Otherwise, the biggest trend at EPCOT continues to be the presence of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Now that the roller coaster is operating a standby queue, it’s exerting a gravitational pull on all tourists in the area.

Disney
How did Cosmic Rewind impact the crowds this past week? Let’s find out. Here are EPCOT’s average wait times:
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – 95 minutes, down 3
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure – 70 minutes, up 3
- Frozen Ever After – 67 minutes, up 4
- Soarin’ Around the World – 47 minutes, down 1
- Royal Sommerhus – 42 minutes, up 1
- The Seas with Nemo & Friends – 27 minutes, up 1
- Spaceship Earth – 25 minutes, up 2
- Meet Mickey & Friends – 23 minutes, up 1
- Mission: SPACE – 23 minutes, up 1
- Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros – 21 minutes, up 3
- Living with the Land – 21 minutes, down 1
- Journey into Imagination with Figment – 18 minutes, down 4
- Turtle Talk with Crush – 18 minutes, down 1

Photo: Disney
Overall, EPCOT attractions had an average wait of 38 minutes, which is the same as last time.
So, this is the first park that wasn’t up significantly week-over-week.
Magic Kingdom

- Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid – 31 minutes, up 5
- The Magic Carpets of Aladdin – 30 minutes, up 4
- Town Square Theater – 30 minutes, up 3
- Walt Disney World Railroad – 28 minutes, up 15
- Enchanted Tales with Belle – 25 minutes, down 2
- Tomorrowland Speedway – 25 minutes, up 5
- Mad Tea Party – 24 minutes, up 3
- Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover – 20 minutes, up 2
- Mickey’s PhilharMagic – 18 minutes, up 1
- Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor – 17 minutes, no change
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel – 15 minutes, up 2
- Country Bear Musical Jamboree – 13 minutes, no change
- Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress – 5 minutes, no change
Final Thoughts
Overall, Magic Kingdom guests waited for an average of 33 minutes per attraction, which is three more than last time.
So, I think it’s safe to say that Spring Break was a factor this past week.
The four parks witnessed an average wait increase of four minutes per attraction. That’s a fairly sizable gain.
