OPENING DATE Revealed For ‘Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After’ and ‘The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure’
In case you missed it, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting two NEW shows soon!

While The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is taking the place of the long-running Voyage of the Little Mermaid show, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will be located at the Sunset Showcase. We knew both shows were expected to open sometime this summer, and now we have a date!
Opening Date Revealed
Both The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After shows are now expected to open on the same day — May 27, 2025!
The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is expected to use new set pieces, special effects, and feature a brand new look at Ariel’s story.

Meanwhile, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will bring guests face-to-face with characters like Captain Hook, Maleficent, and Cruella de Vil.

Disney Starlight
Disney also shared a reminder that the new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight, is coming to Magic Kingdom later this summer. This parade will feature characters from Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen, and more. We’ll be watching closely for an official opening date!
