The Final Performance of Disney California Adventure’s ‘Avengers Assemble’ Will Take Place Soon

As Disney California Adventure prepares for a massive expansion of Avengers Campus, which will include the addition of Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab, a fan-favorite show is coming to an end.

Just months after Story Time with Deadpool ended, Disneyland Resort has announced that the final performance of Avengers Assemble will take place on April 5.

‘Avengers Assemble’ Has Been Performed in Avengers Campus Since the Land Opened

For those who don’t know, Avengers Assemble is a rooftop stunt show held throughout the day near the Quinjet in Avengers Campus. During the performance, the Avengers battle Taskmaster in an action-packed display of acrobatics and athleticism.

A fan-favorite show, Avengers Assemble not only allowed guests to see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in action but also helped make Avengers Campus feel like a living, breathing place.

According to a report from the Orange County Register, the stunt performers in Avengers Assemble earned $40.48 an hour. This meant  theywere among the highest-paid performers at Disney California Adventure.

Avengers Campus Continues to Cut Entertainment Offerings

Avengers Assemble now joins the aforementioned Story Time With Deadpool and Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts as Avengers Campus shows that have ended.

At this time, Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje and Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Dance Off will continue to be performed.

Additionally, guests still have the opportunity to meet their favorite heroes, including Iron Man, Thor, and Captain Marvel through Avengers Campus.

Disneyland has not announced if any new Avengers Campus entertainment offerings are in the works.
