A New Temporary Bar Has Popped Up at EPCOT
For all those of you planning on “drinking around the world” at EPCOT this Tuesday, it looks like your quest just got a tad bit easier.
Why? Well, it seems that a brand-new bar has just popped up here in the World Showcase!
The UK Pavilion
Morning chaps, from the UK Pavilion! Our reporters are here outside the Rose & Crown, the pavilion’s iconic British pub establishment.
It’s here you’ll find all your classic pub grub, British merriment, and — of course — lots of fine ales, beers, spirits, and more!
However, right now, there appears to be a bit of change going on over at the Rose & Crown.
What could it be?
A Temporary Bar Area
As the pub sits right on the World Showcase promenade, our reporters couldn’t miss noticing that this new bar setup had been installed next to the lake!
We did some digging, and it would appear that a new, temporary spot will indeed be opening for service over the coming weeks.
As you can see from the photos, the bar area includes those familiar checkout kiosks and forest-green parasols we’ll all recognize from the EPCOT festivals, ready to check out thirsty guests al fresco.
While the bar wasn’t quite open at the time of writing, our reporters asked a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that this booth would be where guests could purchase the draught beers usually found inside the Rose & Crown pub.
So, if you’re a fan of no-fuss, on-the-go beer purchasing for enjoyment outside on a World Showcase stroll, it looks like you’re in luck here in the UK!
In fact, as a Brit myself, I couldn’t be prouder of the system they’ve established here in the pavilion.
The Rose & Crown
Now, as exciting as the arrival of the temporary bar set-up is, you may be wondering what this actually means for the Rose & Crown pub itself.
Thankfully, we’re happy to report that the pub (and its adjoining dining room) are still open as normal, with the outside bar just operating as an extension of the pavilion’s dining scene. However, there are some changes you will need to know about if you’re planning a visit over the coming months!
Inside the pub, a Cast Member told us that the establishment’s keg room is set to undergo some refurbishment, meaning a limit to the bar’s beer offerings will be necessary.
Throughout this time, only canned beers, as well as wines and cocktails, will be available inside the bar.

So, for the next ten weeks, any guest looking for draught beer will need to visit the pop-up bar stationed just outside.
Well, that clears that mystery up, and we’re happy to say that the drink offerings here at EPCOT’s UK pavilion won’t be affected too terribly!
