WATCH: The Doctor and His New Companion Travel Across Time and Space in New ‘Doctor Who’ Trailer
Last month, Doctor Who fans got some great news when Disney announced that the iconic sci-fi series would return this April.
The second season of Doctor Who will see the Doctor meet Belinda Chandra and begin his epic journey to get her back to Earth. However, “a mysterious force is stopping their return, and the time-traveling TARDIS team must face great dangers, bigger enemies, and wider terrors than ever before.”
The upcoming season stars Ncuti Gatwa as the titular hero, Varada Sethu as Belinda Chandra, and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. Previously, it was also revealed that Alan Cumming will voice Mr. Ring-a-Ding, a happy, funny, singalong cartoon who lives in Sunny Town with his friend Sunshine Sally.

A New ‘Doctor Who’ Season 2 Trailer
With just weeks to go until Doctor Who returns, Disney+ has released a new trailer for the upcoming season.

According to Disney, the new clip “sees the Doctor and his new companion Belinda Chandra as they adventure across time and space, from a futuristic 51st century to the 803rd Interstellar Song Contest to becoming animated characters, a first for the ‘Doctor Who’ series.”

Season 2 of Doctor Who will debut April 12 on Disney+. Today, Disney also released a new poster for the upcoming season.
