Paint the Night’s Iconic Drum Float Is Getting a Disneyland 70th Celebration Update
Disneyland Resort is celebrating a major milestone this year, and we here at MickeyBlog could not be more excited!
The Happiest Place on Earth will officially kick off its 70th Celebration on May 16 with numerous new entertainment offerings, enhancements to attractions, and, eventually, a new Walt Disney animatronic show.
Mickey and his friend will also sport brand-new celebratory outfits!

Of all the festivities taking place at Disneyland during the resort’s 70th Celebration, however, we may be most excited about the return of Paint the Night!
Paint the Night Will Return This May
Last October, Disneyland revealed that the fan-favorite parade would be making a grand return to The Happiest Place on Earth as part of the resort’s 70th Celebration.

The dazzling processional first lit up Disneyland Park in 2015 for the resort’s 60th anniversary. In 2018, the parade shifted to Disney California Adventure for a limited-time run—then, it was gone.
Over the past few months, we have been closely following the progress of Paint the Night’s return. Now, we are back with another update!
Paint the Night’s Iconic Drum Is Getting an Update
Today, Disneyland shared a sneak peek at the new Paint the Night Parade drum, which has been redesigned to include the Disneyland 70th logo.

According to Disney, the processional’s iconic float will alternate between the Paint the Night logo and the new Disneyland 70th insignia.
