Refurbishment Happening Soon at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney World is always looking at ways to improve its parks and resorts — that’s why there’s almost always construction happening! Even right now, we’re seeing some major ride and hotel refurbishments.
And, we just found out about another refurbishment happening soon at a popular Disney World hotel.
Grand Floridian Resort Refurbishment
Another refurbishment is starting soon at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! It will be receiving enhancements in select areas in phases, including the lobby and convention center, from April through November 2025.
Disney warns that guests could see and hear construction during daytime hours, and parts of the lobby will be closed at times.
All pools and most resort dining and other amenities will still be available. However, Disney says to allow extra time for travel, as path adjustments may be in place.

So, if you’re looking to book a stay at the Grand Floridian between April and November of this year, or already have one planned, keep in mind that you might have to deal with some construction and parts of the lobby might be closed.
